
I just added the ability to see when a phone number on a contact was last validated. This is through a custom datetime property called Last Phone Validation.
This is part of a series of features I'm releasing to help users maintain visibility over their data hygiene efforts over time, because data quality isn't just about cleaning your database once.
• Automatic Timestamp Updates: Every time a phone number is validated in a contact workflow, Clean Dial updates the last_validated property with a timestamp
• Zero Performance Impact: The update happens asynchronously in the background, so your validation workflows run at full speed
• Organized Data: Properties are grouped under "Clean Dial Properties" for easy management
Currently this feature is only for Contact records, but if you'd find it useful on another standard object, let me know at contact@daeda.tech
Head to CRM > Contacts > select a Contact > go to Key Information > Actions > Customise Properties > search for Last Phone Validation under Clean Dial.

For new users
Simply install Clean Dial here.
The "Last Phone Validation" property will be created automatically during setup and will start tracking validations immediately.
For existing users
If you installed before 01/12/25 then please reinstall as you'll need to accept some new scopes e.g. read/write to contacts.
Otherwise no action needed! The next time you run a phone validation workflow on a contact record, the custom property will be created automatically and the timestamp will be recorded.

Create a workflow that:
1. Enrolls contacts where "Last Phone Validation" is older than 180 days (or your preferred interval)
2. Re-validates the phone number using Clean Dial's Validate Phone Number action
3. Ensures your database stays fresh automatically

• Percentage of contacts validated in the last 90 days
• Trend of validation activity over time
• Breakdown by contact lifecycle stage or other segmentation
2. Include in Onboarding Processes

I've currently got more custom properties in the pipeline, for example saving formatting numbers or whether a phone number was validated (active/disconnected).
